<p>Military record: enlisted 1776, Private, Continental Regular Army, Gen. Maxwell&#8217;s Jersey Brigade, 3rd New Jersey Regiment, Capt. Dickerson&#8217;s Co., Capt. Ballard&#8217;s Co., discharged 1783, Sergeant. Pension application papers list Brandywine as one of the many battles he was in. He is on the Valley Forge Roster.</p>
